Inspectors? We don't need no stinkin Inspectors!

Does anyone remember Saddam Hussein from the 1990's? You know, funny little man, mustache, waging a war against his own people via his sons and secret polices and Revolutionary Guards, defying the UN and all International Organizations trying to find out if he had WMD's.

You know,

Saddam Hussein Visits the Dentist
Him!

Remember little things like throwing the UN Inspectors out when they were looking for WMD materials? Which finally got Congress into the act to call him on it?

Well, guess who is complaining about IAEA inspectors?

No, not Mr. Dental Checkup Hussein... he is behind bars, now.

Guess again!
Mr. Kim!
No, he just feeds them to sharks.

Any other guesses?

No.

How about...
I can go anywhere in Iran, in disguise
Yes, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the President of Iran! He has just told the IAEA to get rid of their Chief Technology Inspector! Such a swell guy. Needless to say the head of the IAEA told them to say 'pretty please, with sugar on it'... well, no... he didn't... he just said 'sure, no problemo, anything for you, Mr. President'.

And the ex-Chief Technology Inspector, Chris Charlier? His take:

Charlier notes the results of inspections and lists the tricks and deceptions of the Tehran rulers, which leads the inspectors in Vienna to a single conclusion: based on pieces of the puzzle gathered by Charlier, "Tehran is obviously making a bomb."
Sounds familiar, huh?

Oh, we have a few problems with Iran, already. A few chips we haven't called in.

Tehran, 1979.

Beirut, 1983 & 1984.

Khobar Towers, 1996.

IED's, Iraq, 2005.

Baquba, Iraq, 30 JUN 2006.

That's 6 Casus Belli at minimum and probably quite some number more by now.

Iraq is now doing the dirty work of cleaning up the Iranian sponsored militias, especially the Sadrist 'Mahdi Army'.

What will we do with Iran?

Hmmmmm... Maybe it is 'What won't we do to Iran?'

The War Around the Corner or NetWar v 0.9 or something totally unexpected. Probably that latter.

Welcome to the 21st Century.
